Raynor Co.Group, Inc. is a commercial exterior finishes contractor serving the Tampa Bay area. With over fifty years of service on the Central West Coast of Florida, Raynor Company Group, Inc. prides itself on servicing General Contractors and Public Sector clients including: Schools (Private & Public), Churches, Industrial, Commercial, Retail, Government and the Military.
Raynor Company was founded in 1957 by D.C. “Bill” Raynor who operated as a residential subcontractor. In the early 1970’s, the company moved into the commercial sector and continued to grow and develop until 1991 at Bill’s retirement. At this time, the ownership passed to Gene Hester, Gene Hunter and Patrick Dallmann and became Raynor Company Group, Inc. for the next twenty years. In 2012, the ownership again changed to the new group headed by Kyle Dallmann and Daniel Gochenaur as President and Vice President respectively. Raynor Company Group, Inc. continues to move forward to this date built on the ideals of quality work performance, earning the company many awards.
Kyle Dallmann, President
Kyle Dallmann has served as the President of The Raynor Group since 2012. He started his career with The Raynor Group in 2005.
Under Kyle’s leadership, in 2014 at the FWCAA, The Raynor Group won two prestigious awards for over a million on Le Meridian in Tampa, Florida and under a million on St. Jude’s Cathedral Church Renovations in St Petersburg.
The Raynor Group has grown from a specialty plaster company to a large commercial drywall and stucco contractor. You may have noticed that we have undergone a new look recently, but want to ensure you that The Raynor Group still provides the same level of expertise and quality as it did when it started in 1957.
Kyle has over 20 years of experience in the stucco and drywall industry, and has worked at every level of the industry over those 20 years. Although most days you will find him running the company, don’t be surprised to see him on the job alongside his team doing what needs to be done to get the job done.
While attending college, Kyle began harvesting his knowledge of his trade while working for Gator Gypsum.
An almost life-long Pinellas county resident, Kyle was born in Clearwater, but moved to Tampa about nine years ago with his wife and two children. He received his Bachelor in Arts degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. He is a dedicated family man and spends his spare time as a youth baseball coach and cycling.
Daniel Gochenaur, Vice President/PM
After graduating from Armwood High School, Daniel attended Santa Fe Community College and then USF. He became aware of the ME Rinker School of Building Construction and Construction Management degree and decided this was his calling. Daniel graduated from the University of Florida in 2002.
He began his trade in construction doing his internship with a Historical Renovation Contractor in Washington, D.C. and was privileged with working on the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on the White House grounds in addition to the Rayburn House Office building on Capitol Hill. This began his fascination of historical renovation and something he strives to continue as a niche for the Raynor Company Group. After his internship, Daniel returned for his final year in the BCN program at the University of Florida where he was a member of the first ever UF Design/Build Team. Upon graduation, he began working for a Walls and Ceilings Contractor that worked on various large scale projects. Eventually, Daniel started his own handyman and renovation business, which continued to grow.
Daniel was then afforded the opportunity to come on board as the Vice President of Raynor Company Group in January of 2013 and has never looked back.
In Daniel’s spare time he is heavily involved in the Tampa Bicycle Scene and is currently working with The Tampa Downtown Partnership and the Green Artery Team to promote, design and implement bike trails and paths in the Tampa Bay Area. He is a member of the SWAMP Mountain bike club and regularly enjoys traveling the Appalachian Mountains, camping and riding his mountain bike.
Chris Nizol, Operations Manager
Chris Nizol was born and raised in Tampa. Chris started his career in the plastering trade in 1986. He then became a Licensed Contractor in 1996. Chris started working with the Raynor Company Group in
1999, starting as a foreman. Shortly after, he was promoted to Superintendent in 2004.
Chris was again promoted to Operations Manager in 2013, a positions that oversees the daily operations of all stucco, EIFS, and scaffold operations, as well as scheduling everything that comes out of our warehouse.
Chris is an AWCI Certified EIFS Professional.
Chris is married to his best friend, has two daughters, and resides in Tampa. Chris enjoys his family, and some days you will find him making his famous fish spread.
Wayne Rodewald, General Superintendent
Wayne graduated high school in Steeleville, Ill in 1967. Upon graduation, he served in the US Air Force on a missile launch crew from 1967 to 1971 and had been stationed in Texas, Colorado, Okinawa, and North Dakota. Eventually, Wayne ended up moving to Florida and began working in the construction trade.
He first started installing heat and air conditioning units, and then moved on to carpentry for a few years. Eventually, Wayne found his way to becoming an apprentice in framing, drywall and lathing and he was working as an employee of a subcontractor for The Raynor Group. In 1984, he formally began working as for The Raynor Group as a job superintendent and has since then been promoted to General Superintendent. Wayne’s duties include preparing a work schedule, monitoring activities of employees, establishing safety practices and ensuring they are enforced, and the overall progress of the project.
Jason Ocasio, Project Manager
Jason Ocasio began his career in the construction industry in 1998. His first position was a laborer for a stucco subcontractor. Working his way up the ranks over the years, he has gained many important skills in the fields of lathing, plastering, and framing. Although Jason has worked alongside many Raynor employees and on many Raynor projects over the years, he became a formal employee for The Raynor Group in 2010. He was then promoted to team leader and, shortly after, as a job site superintendent.
A few years ago, Jason decided to pursue a college degree while maintaining his full-time position in the construction industry. His persistence and determination finally paid off with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Hillsborough Community College in Tampa Florida. Jason then continued his education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from The University of South Florida. In 2015 Jason was promoted to his current position as project manager for The Raynor Group. Originally from Tampa, he moved to St. Petersburg in 2010 where he currently resides. On his free time he can be found hiking, canoeing, fishing, or just simply exploring the many outdoor venues the Bay Area has to offer.
